My mom does the same thing -- "my daughter MADE this for me!" -- to anyone who will listen. Hang in there -- I'm thinking about you.

Kelly

It's great to have you back - I was thinking good thoughts for you and your Mom.

The $$$/stability issues are things I have also been pondering lately so I can relate.

Rock that lacy lingerie! :)

Kate

Take care on your trip home, thinking of you and your mom alot!

As far as touring with any band... are you sure... even the Backstreet Boys ;-) (just wanted to add a little humor)

Lora

I am so glad to read your entry (glad to hear form you) and sad to hear your thoughts at the same time.

I have also had some of the same yearnings that I read you are having. The desire to be closer to my parents (my Dad has COPD) and the desire for more stability. Spend as much time with your Mother as you can, while you can. You can always go on tour later. As far as the stability part- does anyone REALLY have inner stabilty? Do what you feel YOU need Hun. Your heart will not steer you wrong.
You are in my thoughts as well as your family!

Hi Share, I love the way you ended your post, with the story of your mum and the scarf you knit her. It makes her proud, but it also makes you proud to do it for her, doesn't it?

Thank you for your outlook on money... it's was a reminder that it is greed and not money that is the problem. I wish you luck in your endevours...

As for sex... I like the victoria's secret bra's but do not like the panties at all... just thought I'd share that with you. Ha!

xx

Jenna

Good for you for confronting these taboo topics. I think the common thread between them is that your personal mindset completely affects how you deal with them. You need to feel sexy to have good sex, you need to have knowledge to be able to handle your finances (I'm planning to read Making change by Neale Godfrey to get some knowledge for myself) and as for death, it seems like you are thinking of the good aspects of your relationship with your mom, which is probably the best you can do. Keep your head up, we're thinking of you.

Bonnie

You are working through some tough stuff during a tough time. If it helps any at all, I am sure I speak for everyone posting here when I say "we support you." And feel free to share your thoughts....you'd be surprised how much that can help you and maybe even though of us reading.

Much love!!

Jennifer

Hey Share,
So glad you're back..and I loved the latest entry. I agree a lot with your outlook on money (who isn't looking to get by and make it); and I do agree, greed is definitely the major root of the money evil.
I totally agree with you on the Victoria's Secret...I've been buying their bras for years, and even though they can be pricey, they are definitely well worth it. They're my splurge for myself every once in a while...
I also loved the way you ended this entry. Loved the story about your mom's bursting pride for the scarf you made her; very uplifting and happy.
Thinking of you and your family, and sending major hugs your way!

Hey Share,
So glad that your back; I loved reading this entry. I'm glad you chose to talk about these topics for once. Seems like a lot of people want to talk about everything else except what they're really dying to talk about, and I guess, if that makes us part of "rude society" for saying so, oh well.
I agree wholeheartedly with the whole greed is the root of money evil; we all want to make it, but at what cost?
By the way, I too, love the bras from Victoria's Secret. They're my feel good splurge for myself.
I loved the way you ended this entry as well; very uplifting and happy. Sending you and your family major hugs and keeping you all in my thoughts!!

Sorry for the repeat posts everyone! My computer was acting up when I went to post them!

hey share...good to hear from you again...my thoughts are with you and i am channelling all my strength to you in regards to being with your parents at such a hard time in their and your lives...i recently (february) lost my dad - he was 64 for 4 days...i was 30. not long enough...anyway...know that you're not alone in your struggles.

Dianna

I'm glad for you (and for anyone) who can spend time with family during important times of their lives. My Mom and Dad already went on their big adventure. Due to the sudden nature of my Mom's death, I couldn't be there, which is too bad because I would have been so honored to take care of her. I was there for my Dad for a year and it was really tiring and frustrating and I too wanted to get far away many times. I wasn't even close to him - in fact we were at odds most of my life. Yet, given the choice, I would still choose to be around as much as possible because I concluded later, a year later - after I got some distance, I concluded it was important work - but I don't have the words to explain this idea - (since you are a singer/songwriter I leave that to you.) I hope your parents can be as comfortable as possible. Take care too.
