My eye surgery was successful and I can already see 20/20! It may improve to 20/15 as I was very close to that in the doctor's office this morning.
My up close vision is a little weirded out right now so I'm not knitting as of yet..........but soon.
I plan to kick off the Rowan sweater this week! It is so tiny, that hopefully, I'll finish it quickly.
To Karen: thank you for the tips on seaming. I had no idea that it's easier to use embroidery thread!? Even on the gloves???? So much to learn.
eeeeeeeeehhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
I'm just so flipped out to be seeing. WOWSA!
Mood: visionary.
Confession: I wish I would've done this surgery sooner. HA!
Movies: Couldn't knit due to this eye business, but I watched this really goofy sci-fi series on DVD: Firefly and got pretty into it. Since I don't have telly so to speak, it's commercial free. I dig the production designer's look of everything with that cool Mad Max/Blade Runner urban vibe. The chick named Zoe on the show wears an AWESOME leather vest. With laces up the sides,....just too wicked.
Oooh,,, I am so jealous. I want that surgery too! I am only -1.75 and -2.25, but I still would love to not wear contacts, ya know.
Please e-mail me to tell me about the doctor you had. As soon as I find a reliable and hopefully affordable doctor I am gonna do it too.
Thanks,
Crystal

Isn't just amazing how fast you can see after the surgery! And don't worry about your close up vision, it just takes some time to heal.

So cool. I've been wanting to do this surgery so badly, but just can't seem to find the funds to pay for it. :( Someday soon, I will be seeing 20/20 or as close to it as possible as well.
