Mixin' N Knittin'

We're off to mix our record again today so this will be short.

I'm gonna rip the collar on the Bam sweater. It just ain't right. I tried it in just Colinette and it looks.....well...weird. I've run out of Sirdar Snowflake and have it coming in the mail so when that gets here, I'm gonna redo the collar to be the same as the rest of it. Egads. (Bam just walked in and read this and said, "Oh, my Gawd. You've run out of Sirdar Snowflake. You'll have to settle for the cheap Columbian shit, now." HA HA!!!! Maybe I should start smoking my Snowflake?

I've joined up with the knitalong gang doin' the Bottoms Up Hat. Please leave me comments on what everyone is using for yarns as this will be my first one and I want to get it right. My ideal would be to make it furry, NOT eyelash, just furry. But I think I will have to combine yarns to do this? I have quite a bit of Berroco Plush in the exact shade of pink I would like the hat, but can I knit it with that alone?

In other news........I've done the evil 20 Questions interview from Metal Sludge. Their single knitting question was whether or not I had knitted Bam a penis warmer. They're so nasty and funny.

One funny thing........I checked the referrers to this blog. I get a lot of hits of people lookin' for "rock n roll today". HEY>>>>>>>>>>>turn off your radios and go buy cd's of JET, THE WILDHEARTS, HIVES and when our cd is done.........BUBBLE.

Woo Hoo! Another person doing the Bucket Up Knit Along. Not sure what yarn I am going to use yet. Probably some cotton from the stash.

Berocco Plush should work since it is a Bulky yarn but it will give a drappier hat. You may have to go down a few needle sizes to get a firmer fabric so that it keeps it shaping a little more.
