Sometimes I Just Need A Good, Swift...

Kick in the butt!!

Man, oh man. So what that we have to get our van fixed? I read Monica's blog and was reminded of basic concepts like.....not being in a hospital recovering from something that's not your fault! How could I forget the time I was rear-ended by an 18 wheeler in a blizzard in the mountains of Arizona. The only thing that saved my life and my dog's life was the fact that my car was a vintage 1970 Mustang coupe. If I'd been in a Honda.........forget it. I would not be here. Needless to say, those types of experiences are humbling and very frightening. Not to mention, I'd had to spend the night on the tow truck dude's couch while he showed me his gun collection and talked about how his wife was sure he was cheatin' on her. (think Deliverance). Whiplash and complete fear!!!!! (Shout out to Monica for a speedy recovery!!!)

So, I'm appreciatin' the finer things in life today like basic existence and shelter and food.

Apology for bein' a bratty grump yesterday. Oy vay.

I am sooooooooooo excited to go to Hawaii today. Only slept 3 hours because we had so much stuff to do. So I'm lookin' a little peaked but who cares?

I have packed my entirely pink wardrobe and then suddenly realized, the business conference is at the Royal Hawaiian in Oahu.........the hotel with the nickname: THE PINK PALACE!!!!!!!!!!

We found a super cheap store yesterday with clothes for $5 plus tax and I scored an awesome Rayon pink Hawaiian dress and Bam found a wicked 100% rayon gorgeous Hawaiian shirt. We were laughing at how cool and funny we looked. I can't wait to wear my Hawaiian garb in Hawaii!

I am bringing my Sugar n Cream yarn and my 1/4 done placemat for some simple knitting. I also packed some fun pink yarns in case I get inspired to tackle a lacy scarf. But I may just sit on the beach and sleep.
