I've been knitting what I've dubbed a Baby Pirate cap. Nothing terribly fancy. Black ribbing along the bottom and then black and white stripes in stockinette. What every pirate baby should have. Arrrrrrh!

Hope you're having a great time up North...I've always wanted to visit Vancouver. I'll get there someday. Too many places to see and not enough $$--ain't it the truth! Congrats on the CD--it's finally gonna see the light of day!! I'm looking forward to it.

On the knitty front: how big is that baby hat you're making? I'm trying to make one for my coworker's 1 y.o. but can't find a super easy pattern that doesn't ask for dpns.
