Daisy, Daisy....

If you're like me, you've poured through the online knitting magazine KNITTY and found this article: Cool Stuff.
At the bottom of the page, they talk about these new plastic fun colored needles called Daisy by Crystal Palace.
WELL.....lemme tell ya!
I hate, detest, cannot stand knitting with plastic needles.
UNTIL NOW!
Holy fiber addictions.
I got to test them out and they are amazing.
Imagine knitting with butter.
The yarn just sah-lides my friends.
Unreal. I would'nt've believed ya if I hadn't checked it out myself.
I am getting several pairs of these suckers.
Not to mention, the different sizes have different colors so I don't have to squint to read the damn size. Maybe you experts aren't bothered with that sort of thing cuz you know by feel, but us newbies have to take it all a bit slowly.

This ain't knitting but it's Daisy related.....
my friend, Tish started a company so her daughters would feel comfortable and be excited about learning to play guitar. Little did she know it would take off like Starbucks and eventually, this babe-o-rama would rise to the top like cream! She fought an uphill battle to get where she is because the guitar industry is still an old boys network. Give her your support! (yes, I play a Daisy too!)

Back to the knitting....
So Bam and I were talking and he wanted to know if I'd knit with tshirt yarn yet. I replied no, and the next thing I know ...he's in the backyard cutting up an old shirt!

Now I have no excuses right?
That's the yarn from one extra large tshirt.
hmmmm.....now what to knit from it?

Gotta run. I'm off for to Lisi's shop for a much needed hang!

The Daisy Guitars kick a serious amount of ass! And I love that you've got your boy actually making yarn for you. Sweeeet! I say confuse the heck out of him and knit him a shirt with it!
