So we had a little barbecue yesterday and my pal/partner in knitting crime Catheryn and her English hubby Paul who has known Bam for like.....20 years....came over. Along with our other mates, Jo and Caroline. Needless to say, at every given opportunity, Catheryn and I led our conversation over to knitting and yarns and needles and stitches and blah blah blah. We even wound two balls of her yarn. (BTW, the Himalaya silk is gorgeous!!!!) I felt badly for Caroline as she is a NK (non-knitter) and we tried, honestly, we did try to NOT talk about knitting.
After all was said and done, it was a fabbo barbee and eventually all the food made my eyes close and I went to sleep land while Bam stayed up creating graphics on his mac.
This morning, I found THIS special delivery from BAM in my inbox!!!!
Please enlarge it to really see it.
I think ALL of our significant others will relate!!!
ha ha!!!
LOL! very cute ;)

Nice cartoon from BAM.
Seems to be a very sweet guy. You are lucky Share... but I'm sure you already know it.

Heh, love the comic strip, so true. I keep asking my boy why I never see him wear the awesome skull and crossbones wristband I made for him, thinking he secretly hates. No, it's because wearing that wool in the summer isn't so comfortable.
Similarly, I started making him a punk rock scarf using your controlled ladders technique. It looks awesome, I'll be sure to keep you updated.
