Green Stuff
Since going raw, we've become very aware of how green and un-green our lives can be. From fuel consumption to heating, cooling, electricity, water, packaging, buying food locally etc etc etc.
Came across these two killer sites I thought my fellow knitters would like!
One is similar to Daily Candy but is like 'green candy'. You'll get emails to your inbox on weekdays with suggestions for making the world greener!

The other is a site that I found where you can take a test to find out how 'big' your footprint is. Mine is 8 which means I still have a lot of room for improvement.

Couple that along with the organic cottons and hemp yarns available and we can change the world one stitch at a time!!!!!

Very surprising there is no pink details on it but very cool anyway.

I can undersatand your feelings with your mother's piano. Turn every tear into a note and write a song for her. She'll surely be listening from heaven.
